A description of how to do a muffler mod on a Stihl chainsaw, including carburetor tuning. In the speed test at the end I also used an RS chain following the muffler mod, whereas in the stock test the saw still had the factory RMC3 chain on.
Both saws have some porting work and muffler mods. The Stihl only has about one tank of gas through the rebuild. The wood is dry eucalyptus aka red gum, a very dense/hard wood.
