Stihl weed eater / strimmer I bought at auction for £2 gbp.
A quick look over it to see what parts are there and what’s missing. The air filter and the spark plug are gone, and I’d be surprised if the carburettor works, its very old but it seems to have good compression from testing it with my finger over the hole. The piston moves smoothly but is caked in coke deposits.
I will make videos as I go along, in part 2 I get her cleaned up and take a look at the engine. Looks like it badly needs a de-coke and I best clean it out since it has stood with an open hole where the spark plug should be.
It has to be a bargain, right? But some farmers were standing there laughing when I won it 😮
